Below are photos from my laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriosis in the abdominal cavity including an endometrioma inside the left ovary. Endometriosis was removed from the bladder, bowel, and right kidney. In addition, a large endometrioma approximately 9cm was removed from inside the left ovary and the left ovary was restructured.

The first page shows my upper abdominal area (top row) and bladder area (bottom row). They scanned all around the Diaphragm including the organs and found no Endometriosis. They found a spot of Endo on my bladder and two spots on my bowel which can be seen on Page 3.

Page 2 shows my Uterus in the top left image. If you look to the left of the red indicator you can see a white squiggly line. That is a fibroid inside of my Uterus. Dr. Mikhail said because I have no symptoms associated with the fibroid, he decided to leave it intact. In fact, most women have fibroids and are asymptomatic. The top right shows my left ovary next to the right ovary. The white mass in the middle of the left ovary is the Endometrioma. You can also see in the side by side comparison what the size of an ovary should look like opposed to the left with the cyst. The bottom right side is the Uterus and the structures connecting to it with no signs of Endo. The bottom right is just another angle of both the Endometrioma and the right ovary.

Page 3 shows the actual work being done. Top left is the preparing to remove the Endometrioma out of my left ovary. The top right is when Dr. Mikhail excised the endo of the right ovary. The bottom left is a photo of my bowel and the two places where endo was excised from. The bottom left is my fully reconstructed good a new LEFT OVARY. YEAH!!! Dr. Mikhail was able to save both of my ovaries and fallopian tubes. Everything should be fully functional in two weeks! Dr. Mikhail was very proud of the procedure and said everything went according to plan and there were no surprises.
